Dorcas is a K-5 reading tutor, librarian assistant, as well as a lunchroom and playground supervisor. She received her BA in Interior Design from the University of Washington. Her husband, Eiichi, is an oyster grower. They have four children and eight grandchildren. She loves to do Japanese Calligraphy, sumi painting and plays the piano.
