This is Leslie’s second year teaching PE part time in the mornings at Lawton. She just graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Education and Exercise Science and her K-12 Teaching Certificate. She is so excited to have the opportunity to be doing what she loves and that is teaching kids about their bodies and how to keep them healthy. She hopes to inspire them to adopt a life-long healthy lifestyle that will benefit them long into the future.
Leslie grew up in Lynden, WA near the Canadian border and enjoyed playing sports all through high school. Now she is following in her mother’s footsteps as an elementary PE teacher. Her other favorite activities include coaching, playing indoor soccer, and cheering on the UW Huskies. Go Dawgs!
