CalendarOur PTA raises money through a variety of fundraising programs. Some of our larger fundraisers include our auction, Move-A-Thon, and Sally Foster products. Additionally, bake sales are held at many PTA functions. Smaller, ongoing fundraisers are listed below. Your support in these programs helps bring enrichment programs to Lawton students.
GoodSearch
GoodSearch is the search engine that allows you to raise money for Lawton while browsing the internet as you normally would. It was founded on the premise that people really want to support and feel connected to their favorite charities, but don’t always have the time or money to do so. GoodSearch works as well as other search engines with its results being powered by Yahoo!. The only difference is that 50% of the entire advertising revenue generated by the company goes to charity. Do you prefer to shop online from the comfort of your own home? If you shop through iGive.com and visit your favorite retailers, you will be making a simultaneous donaton to Lawton! At iGive.com you can make purchases online from over 650 stories including Barnes & Noble, Petco, Best Buy, Gap, to name a few. It’s free and there are no invisible costs or tricky obligations. Boxtops for Education
Clip these coupons from cereal, crackers and other commonly used products— each one brings money to our school. Send the coupons to school with your child or place them in the pink collection box located in the front hall. Click here for more information on the Boxtop program.
Thriftway Receipts
By saving your grocery receipts, you can earn money for our school. The Magnolia Thriftway generously rebates 1% of all grocery products purchased by Lawton families. Save your receipts and send them to school with your child. Or, you can put them in the collection basket in the office.
Albertson’s Community Partners
The great thing about this program is that if you already have a Preferred Savings Card at Albertson’s, you need only link it to our school once. Lawton then receives a percentage each time you shop. To sign up, click here. Lawton’s Community Partner number is 4 90001 27329 7.
Cartridges for Kids
Cartridges for Kids is an environmentally friendly program that pays cash to schools for empty inkjet, laser, fax, and copier cartridges, as well as surplus cellphones, laptops, and PDAs. Drop your unused items into the CFK box located in the front lobby. For more information about this program, click here.
Qwest Gives 1% Back To Schools
When you sign up for Qwest 1% Back to Schools, Qwest will donate the equivalent of one percent of your monthly Qwest bill to the eligible school district of your choice – at no extra cost to you. For more information about this program, click here.
Mabels Labels Paperless Fundraising
Here is an opportunity to label all the things that kids can lose, as well as raise money for the school. Order online and Lawton will receive a portion of the proceeds. Follow the link for more details: www.lawtonschool.mabel.ca
Sally Foster
Lawton coordinates a Sally Foster wrapping paper fundraiser each fall. Fifty percent of the proceeds of each sale directly benefits our school. Online orders are available year-round.
